"You get up, have a small breakfast and head straight to the armchair. Then you start to think. You muse. You ruminate. You meditate deeply on small, seemingly insignificant matters that are so abstruse that no one else can understand their meaning."

and that's the way it's supposed to be!

"Then, you pack your pipe, careful not to spill any tobacco on your smoking jacket, and light it. Fragrant aroma fills the air as a gift from someone who read your latest book, but you are too entrenched over miniscule details to notice."

tobacco huh?????

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.---senior doobie

Atleast the philosopher didn't do construction clean up this morning.  I thought I was going to freeze to death!  On second thought, maybe that is how the philosopher feels, with icicles running thru their veins.

The best days are the ones where you can just sit in the chair all day

--------------------
You're here because you know something.
What you know you can't explain,
But you feel it;
You've felt it your entire life.
That there's something wrong with the world.
You don't know what it is, but it's there....
Like a splinter in your mind...
Driving you mad.

Some people say life is hard....but, compared to what?

Okay, here is my "bitch" of the day.

I don't often bitch.  I think I am pretty happy, and accepting of where I am, and at the same time, I am always looking for opportunity to better my situation.  I never just simply accept where I am at.

Sometimes, once in a while, I come down off my pedestal and I want to bitch about something.  I hate when I want to complain about something in my life, and when I do, someone says "think of the poor people in 3rd world countries who don't have anything".

All I want to do is spout off with a well-earned "bitch" about something that isn't the way I want it to be, like a better car, or a home, or something, or bitch about how tough my circumstances are, for me, sometimes, and I get shot down.  I don't hardly do this at all!

Or like when I say, "Yes, when I was younger, I was poor.  I had to ride my bicycle to clean houses so I could support my kids while I went to school."  And I hear, "Hahahahaha!!!  That's not poor!!!  At least you had a bike!"

WTF is up with that???
