What Would My Future Children Be Like?

Luvdemush's latest post in the sterilization thread has gotten me thinking...
What would my future children be like? I was thinking this could go one of two ways. They could either end up completely balls to the walls batshit insane and wild freaks like me, and basically be an exact replica of the motherfucking legend that is me...
OR, they could end up being stereotypical goody-two-shoes who grow up completely normal and successful. They will probably think of me as the "embarrassing mom" who is always telling stories about "my first gangbang" or "my favorite rehab experience" in front of all their teenage friends. LOL
The only reason I think the 2nd option is a feasibility, is because I've noticed that kids often end up being the total opposite of their parents. Conservative parents usually end up raising the most rebellious party animals, and party animal parents often end up raising the most studious, nerdy kids. It's weird, but I've seen it happen on sooooo many occasions.

Any man that wants to impregnate ASAP a woman he just started dating really has some sort of mental disorder or a major psychological insecurity.

I would get to know the guy a little bit before you have kids with him, but there's plenty of worse people out there having kids.
Are you still on the subs? Maybe get off those first so that you don't have a withdrawing baby. That's always really sad for me to hear about.
Oh and to answer your question, it's all up to you, and the way you raise them. How could we know the choices you will make, but I think you are perceptive enough to know what the right choices are.

No. I talked about wanting to have sex with my son and his entire circle of friends once they turned 18. Get it right, man!
I mean, duhhh. Why wouldn't I want to have sex with my son? He would probably look exactly like a younger version of his dad.
Konyap's right though, I probably won't live long enough to see their 10th birthday.

This is unacceptable, take this jar of blood I've collected from my reproductive organs and donations I received from depressed and suicidal people. You go show them how it's really done!

You know, usually I would just assume this was a joke or playing along.. I really can't do that with you. I have to believe this a serious statement.
I don't believe in forced sterilization, I really don't care about the reasoning. It is not about "their rights" it's how that is one step down a slippery slope. If people start accepting this, imagine all the things that will eventually follow it. Maybe not within months or a couple of years, but eventually that envelope is going to keep getting pushed further. Eventually they are going to trample on even more "god given rights". As we continually dehumanize the "undesirables" the general population is going to accept an ever widening criteria on what can be done and to whom.
If that trend continues over countless years, and our species doesn't implode before it can reach those points, eventually you'll have to be a cookie cutter mold of what "they" say is acceptable behavior and stepping outside of that, is grounds for repercussions. Movies like Logan's Run, Gattaca and Equilibrium make for some decent examples of where this slope ends.

There was a guy in the anonymous forums years ago, who started a thread saying that he is sexually attracted to his daughter.
Not only that, he commented that this was something that was very common amongst all parents, it's just very taboo to actually go and do it.
If you think about it, your son or daughter is basically going to look like an exact, younger replica of your partner. Why wouldn't you be attracted to them?

I don't think you can really deny that incest fantasies are common with the way that porn is these days, but that's fantasy. Actually feeling compelled to get with your family is a different matter. You could say that fantasies are just expression of desires, but I think conscience and common sense also needs to come into play. I would say in our culture there is usually an unhealthy dynamic there.

Honestly, I didn't have any male relatives or male cousins, so that's probably why I fantasized about having sex with my (nonexistent, hypothetical) son when I was like 15.
I'm sure if I actually had a son I would be repulsed and disgusted at this thought.

CrystalG,
I don't know if you're trolling or serious. But if you decide to have children please get clean. Drug and alcohol abuse destroys babies and damages them for their entire lives. It is essential to not use any drugs or alcohol while you're pregnant.
I have volunteered at an instutution for children so badly harmed their parents gave them up. They will be institutionalized for their entire lives. One young girl with an IQ of about 20 whom I visited and read books to several times had fetal alcohol syndrome. Please don't do that to your baby. Despite your personal issues and demons you struggle with I'm convinced you have pretty good genetics. So if you have children give them every advantage you can, be a good mom, and get please yourself clean. God bless.

Crystal G you might be blessed with awesome children but you got to get serious about life before you do.
Its OK to cast your life into the flames like you do, and many times the flames will cool and let you pass through, as you experienced many times. Its a true Miracle.
But a child needs stability, and that starts with a drug free womb and a stable household.
You are at the crossroads, chase life for all its worth or calm down and prepare to create a life.
Its about getting serious about life. Are you willing to do that, for your possible child to be?

I don't know why you're laughing. It's not a laughing matter. It's quite obvious you are not mentally stable enough to have a child. Please don't

Since when has that ever stopped anybody. If anything it is only the "mentally stable" ones who can make the wise choice not to have kids. That's just a fact of life.

The so-called "mentally ill" make life interesting. Hemmingway, Burroughs, Van Gogh, and Edgar Allen Poe were all mentally ill. All of them with the fervor of the creative spirit that accompanies traditional mental illness.

Doesn't mean they should be having kids. Pretty sure almost all of Hemingway's descendants offed themselves. I'm gonna try and never have kids so I don't bring people as fucked in the head as I am into this world.

Hemingway's children were for the most part, successful. His youngest son was a physician and lived a long life, until his 70's or 80's I believe.
I read Hemingway's biography written by one of his children. They had interesting and funny stories about him. He would take them sailing while completely wasted drunk, and throw live grenades at turtles. Pretty sure that's where he got the idea for the Old Man and the Sea story from. From being a crazy person and an alcoholic spending all his time out alone on the ocean.

I don't remember the title, it was one of my ex's books that I was reading while he was sleeping. I'm not one of those people that remembers song or movie titles real well. It was written by one of his sons, either Gregory or Patrick.
Holy shit, while trying to search for the book, I uncovered some interesting information, apparently his son became a transsexual named Gloria? http://knowledgenuts.com/2013/12/05/ernest-hemingways-son-became-a-transsexual-named-gloria/
While trying to find the book, I found this. Go to page 419, they talk about how the sons' memory of going on the U-boat and their father throwing hand grenades at turtles and shooting flying fish with a .22: https://books.google.com/books?id=K18jAQAAIAAJ&pg=PA419&lpg=PA419&dq=gregory+hemingway+turtle+grenade&source=bl&ots=Rrep-D_6gF&sig=X3QzjcUMW_sPpsGmLSEsFFlvxRY&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0CCQQ6AEwAWoVChMIoJW3xbeLyQIVDMFjCh21GgUR#v=onepage&q=gregory%20hemingway%20turtle%20grenade&f=false

Sounds like kind of an asshole, but I guess so was Burroughs shooting his wife in the head and all, and Van Gogh traumatizing women by sending them body parts, and I'm sure Poe did some fucked up things as well, but nothing I can think of other than being a melodramatic and hopeless addict. (edit- oh yeah he married his 13 year old cousin, didn't he?)

Van Gogh was a notorious asshole. He was notorious for abusing women and children. He was sexually exploitative and an abuser.

HAHA thanks for that. Hemingway is one of my favorite authors I had to read for school so learning stuff like that about him is amusing.

I think you're smart enough and self aware enough to make a sound decision if you ever were in a position of having kids, whatever that would be. Honestly I think you'd realize the immensity of the situation and feel the weight, so to speak, and having a kid might kick your ass a little bit and put you in gear to raise that thing well. Ya, you might be the crazy mom, but I feel like you're the type of person that when you put your mind to a job, can do that job and more, and I feel like motherhood wouldn't be an exception.
I'm kind of the same way where the idea of me having kids is :
1. ew. 2. scary. 3. How the fuck would they turn out?
Childbirth, and babies freak me out, but little kids are so awesome. I was always the baby, even when it came to the age of the kids I grew up with, always, so I was awkward around kids for the longest time. After I stopped thinking about it so much, kids are just fucking awesome and a lot of fun, but I really don't know if I want any of my own.
My brother is getting married in a little over a month, his fiancee wants 3 kids, and they're apparently gonna start trying for one very soon. I'm gonna have so much fun with that kiddo, and I'm excited for it, but the thought of me actually giving birth to a child skeeves me out hardcore.
