strange wonder what caused that? is it a presto/mirro? personally I would use it as long as the holes aren't too large and don't get any bigger if you recently purchased it I would maybe consult the manufacturer customer service and bitch a little bit or at least get their POV on the issue as I am not nor claim to be the authority on PC's

if this was a 100 year old PC, I'd be concerned.
it looks fairly new, so I wouldn't be concerned.
due to improvements in the production of aluminum, its now made at a much higher purity and will withstand much more stress.

I've had this happen to me.. Twice!!

The first one doesn't hold water anymore. I put it on the burner and it just drips water slowly. Op you can definitely still use it, but make sure you listen for when the water sizzles on the burner. That's what happened to me. Then I got a big ass new PC lol

Yeah I'd rather just straight weld it back together. Its just a tiny ass hole. But these were my first 2 PCs ever. They lasted me 5 years. They couldn't even hold more than 10 psi, or like 3 qt jars. If it was an AA or a big presto, I'd definitely weld it up. Not these hunks of shit tho lol

not a bad idea. I guess it depends what other PCs cost. You'd feel real dumb losing an eye over it.
