Birth or wait?
    #22505703 - 11/10/15 03:46 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

So i got this one cake thats 100% colonized apart from this one bit near the dry verm layer that just wont colonize, some guys on here suspect it may be bacteria.

Should I wait longer to see if it colonizes or birth it now and rinse off the uncolonized part?

Wait a bit longer till it fully colonizes. If it doesn't colonize that specific section, then you can be sure that it's contaminated.

looks like something nasty, may be excessive bacteria, you have a bit of bacteria towards the bottom of the jar as well.
bac is not really a problem once a cake is colonized tho, just rinse off the uncolonized stuff, dunk, rinse again, roll and fruit
