Official PNW ROOKIE/NEWBIE identification
    #22504947 - 11/10/15 12:52 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

I wanted to make a thread that us newbies can visit, that way we don't clog up the Official PNW thread with our "mistakes" lol. or something like that. I thought it was at least worth a try. Anyways, went on a walk around my neighborhood (The Kitsap peninsula) this morning. Not too sure if these are anything good, or just rookie mistakes

3 looks more like a suillus to me, but I"d have to see the hymenium (underside of the cap) to be sure.

4 looks like mycena

6 looks like clitocybe tarda

I advise any noob looking to identify mushrooms to fill out the ID form and provide clear photographs. Knowledge is a privilege and deserves respect. Let's give due props to the experts!
