Cellulose Filter Tek?
    #22504654 - 11/10/15 11:28 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

I just got 10 cellulose filters and wish to make them to size for siliconing to my holes on my lids.

Im seeing you can cut em, you shouldnt, you can use scissors, you gotta ream and grind a pipe to punch out circles, lots of shit.

Anyways was just hoping someone had a tek of this being done with scissors. Or someone who uses this type of disc on a regular and has used scissors just fine.

Either way i dont wanna grind down a pipe nor do I wish to waste these gorgeous discs. I have an extra set of new lids incase someone has a bomb lid tek for me.

Either way I appreciate the help guys. Shroomery is the best!:yesnod:

Here's a tek Get some change from your country Quarter Nickel dime. whatever size of the appropriate size and lightly pencil/marker the diameter and cut out with sharp scissors carefully. Diligence and care will assure you will not waste a single bit. You can use the smaller cut offs and try to silicone them in somewhere after attempting to make em round also.

Also its not rocket science its just mycology it doesn't necessarily have to be 100% professional or non ghetto. do not be afraid to get laughed at for your ingenuity.

Just trace a quarter or something on the discs and then cut the circles out with scissors. Pretty simple...
