Fungus ID
    #22504552 - 11/10/15 11:01 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

This fungus was found growing in the Snohomish Mountains near Granite Falls.
Growing out of a decaying stump.
Looks like ketchup sprayed on fungus.
Not really a stem or a cap- no spore print.
I have never seen anything like this before.

An odd Rieshi maybe? Wait for a TI.

Very cool find. It sure wasn't very large but I am interested in medicinal properties of fungus too! Thanks so much for the ID.
