I would give it a shot with the Ninja. I assume those are manufactured with the idea that water may get on that component right there. I can't see it doing harm in the short term but in the long it may corrode your access point after multiple pressure cooker runs.
As for the syringe I like the idea of multiple access points from a single, large syringe. That one I think you're going to have to give it a shot and report back. What I will warn you is, and you mentioned it in the above post, media choice is going to be crucial. If you get something that clumps up you can potentially lose chunks of myc.
LC mixture would be great in that but I see an initial problem of liquifying the mycelium unless you're gonna use that ninja and then suck it up and in that case I'd go with pasty's formula or an LC liquid.
Great ideas ,
I'm mainly in my thread 'cause I don't like to argue with people about things they don't know

I may start a journal to log my progress and experiments. I love experimenting with new ideas. I have Tuesday's off work and am expecting my lot of Petri dishes. Perhaps I'll run a PC cycle with the Ninja canister. I should probably run it with water in it so I don't have to add anything but the cultures.
I have this little non-electrical chopper too that is completely self contained. I could PC that then chop my plates into mush but then I struggle with how to get it out without contaminating it. I could probably drill a hole and add an SHIP.
I think the syringe idea will work too or at least some adaptation of it.
You don't have to explain to me why you avoid other threads. Lol. I get it. I'm just glad you are around. You are really helpful and encoursge me to try new things!

I'll be in that journal ,
The chopper is hard to swing, when you get a chance take a pic.
Can't wait to see the results of that ninja, I'll buy one if it works out well. The silicone on my Li jars needs to be replaced and its tedious at best .

I don't even know if it's necessary to create a barrier between the canister and the connection port on the electrical component so long as it is very clean and used in my SAB when I connect it but I will post pics as I go. Maybe I'll create a "condom" with a ziplock bag or glove? It certainly is cheap enough.
I have a magic bullet too. Lol. You know what this means right? I better get oats ready for my first LI success...
Should I make the LI then squirt it on agar to see how dirty it is first?

so I'm ordering a mexicube syringe soon. any ideas on how I could grow it discretely? thinking of using maybe 4-12 jars (prob quarts, not pints). I was also looking into doing the dunk and roll technique at some point bc I heard lots of good things about it. I'm mainly looking for a setup that doesn't require a large or obvious fruiting chamber. also another thing is that my room temp is around 65-70ish so I hope that won't be a problem. not looking to grow pounds upon pounds.. just enough for a year or two worth for myself (if I could store it that long even..?) would be awesome if I could get some guidance from some more experienced people this would be my first grow and I'm hoping to make it good

You might want to get out of your parents house first. Remove the vendor from your post.

If you're growing to hide it from someone take it from experience, they'll probably find out
Is this your first time cultivating? If so I'd follow this tek:
http://www.mushroomvideos.com/BRF-Pf-Tek
Bottles need a plastic tote to maximize efficiency anyway unless you're gonna be misting them two times a day. A great alternative to those totes is Pasty's bottle tops:
http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22512011
The way he top fruits is closer to the bottom of the first post.
So you're going to need Coir (petco), Verm (Home depot), Gypsum (Optional, garden centers), some qt jars (Home depot, lowes, ace hardware, wide mouth preferred, reg mouth is tough for bottles), whatever tote you decide (either 66 or 27qt mono or pasty's top bottle fruiting), a pressure cooker and your choice of grain.
What do you got so far?

I'd do both ,
grains are cheap. I fuck up loads all the time and it's no skin off my back. The pricey part is losing good, clean myc IMO. Most likely you will succeed so I wouldn't waste time and get that grain jar started
The chopper looks awesome, I was actually thinking about it last time and for wedge drops it could work pretty well. Transfer it in, chop it up, open it and take pieces and spread them amongst pint jar masters and shake. I prefer LI over A2G in a heart beat but some people don't like the extra vector of contam in LI.
With that chopper though I wouldn't go too fine, would be really annoying to pick up those tiny pieces of agar. I'd just chop until just right where I had a few free squares. Would work great for pasty plates, it's gonna need a trial run though

not too concerned about it getting discovered. I've made my mycology interest known recently and I doubt he'd know anything about shrooms. he pretty much just knows about the devil weed lmao he's also gone almost all day and very rarely comes into my room and I don't have any of the ingredients for the substrate yet. or the jars or a terrarium. I also don't have a pressure cooker so a beginner's tek that doesn't require one would be great

Really your concern should be that you are growing a schedule 1 substance in someone else's home without their knowledge. Even if he's just a roommate, he should be aware of any illegal activities happening under his roof because ultimately he could be held liable for your actions (especially if you are a minor).

My hands are pretty tied here brotha, not much I can do but suggest this:
Go with this tek:
mushroomvideos.com/BRF-Pf-Tek
You're gonna want to steam sterilize those BRF cakes. Watch all four of those videos as he will detail the process, your ingredients and everything.
Follow that EXACTLY and you will succeed. The mushroom gods will extract their karma though, it'll probably end badly

I have pulverized things in this chopper before but unless I suck contents up with a syringe that might get messy. I forgot my maid was coming today. Since I work 6 days a week she she is helpful every other week but she puts a bit of a damper on my plans. I went out for coffee and came home to no sheets on beds, kitchen occupied and a feeling that I'm in the way. Lol.
