Gymnopilus sp. or Gallerina Sp?

Ok, I would really appreciate some help here. From the research I've done, these look like they could be some form of Gymnopilus sp. But thanks to double checking, it appears they could also be from the Galleria sp. Obviously one is preferable to the other. Basically, I'm wondering what I've found and whether I'm happy or disappointed about it. These are definitely mature, and we're clearly growing awhile. I picked one on Friday night, and the samples shown in the pics were picked Sunday afternoon.
Habitat: I found these growing in a cluster on the trunk of a dead hardwood in a cow pasture in south-central MN. I Jane more than are shown, but these give a good sample.
Gills: See pics. They are darker brown.
Stem: Vary in length from 2 to 4 inches, they are fibrous and whitish tan color with no ring
Cap: Caps are convex, 1 to 3 inches in diameter, colors vary from whitish to tan to yellowish to orange - often on the same cap. There appear to be some scales on some.
Spore print color: I took a spore print from the mushroom I picked Friday night. I checked it Saturday evening, and it appeared to be brown. More light than dark brown, but not a color I would describe as "light brown". I know these are older, so I'm not sure how or whether that would affect the spore print.
Bruising: I'm not certain, but there appears to be some brown bruising, if any. Most show no bruising.
Other information: They seem to have a neutral, slightly typical mushroom smell. Not the anise or licorice odor I had hoped for, but I've also read that that doesn't necessarily mean anything. I also tasted a piece of two caps, and spit them out. They taste like a mushroom, but not the bitter taste I was hoping for. But the taste was overall more neutral.
General thoughts: There is another post in this forum somewhere from another Minnesota poster who claimed to have found Gyms. They noted no bitter taste and no bruising but ate them and said they were blasted to the center of the universe. So that's really the only reason I'm holding on to hope.

Neither. You have a Pholiota.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Yep, maybe Pholiota aurivella group or something of the sorts.
