Not yet, but I want to get one that says, "Calm Under Pressure" in typeface letters maybe at my sides or the inner side of my bicep.

Indeed, indeed. I will admit there are some that go beyond mere decoration. I'm not totally slamming the idea of them, just if you're going to get one, make sure the artist is truly skilled. I've seen some bad, bad tattoos out there.

I have one and it took me a minute to really figure out what I wanted to get and I knew the artist and her work. I got mine for personal reasons from a tragic event in life that turned my life around. Didn't get a tattoo to just have one. I have a half sleeve on my arm and most shirts cover it up so not a issue for work. Plus my job has nothing against tats so never worried about that.

I got a large tattoo last year, and I call it my "psychedelic manifesto." Although there isn't a mushroom anywhere in the ink, I do have the psilocybin and DMT molecules in there and the rest is an artistic representation of what the psychedelic experience means to me. It took 25 hours of needle work to finish the tattoo and I started it around this time last year. In the process of getting the tattoo I made really good friends with the artist who had always wanted to know how to grow mushrooms. So I taught him to grow and he did most of the tattoo for free. We also became really good friends as a result of all this and he gave me a job working the front desk a few days a week. It doesn't pay much but it is a pretty sweet job--I just hang out and talk to people about tattoos all day while I read Shroomery posts on the front desk computer. Life works out funny like that sometimes.

Is the last part of the word "personally" obscured by your sleeve or were you paying per letter and being thrifty?
