Ok so I was out in oregon  for a few moths and I picked some cyanescens in my happiness  the first one  I picked  came out with some myc on a clod of root and dirt and wood.  I also took  prints . I've done a bit of reading  on this species and get the just of it have grown  cubes before  so it's not foreign  to me on how to grow. Just wondering  how much extra  work I would need to put in to have a outdoor  bed in Michigan. I'd be in zone 5 is there any chance that it would be ok thru the winter  or would I need to bring it in .and also from my reading  iv seen that the myc likes below  70° to have myc growth how do I achieve  this in a heated house lol

May I ask what your experience with techniques growing wise is?

Also what Cube type?  post a pic of the spore print would love to see it!

myc loves warm temps for colonizing so no worries, freezing is also something you don't need to worry about with them

I have prints and some mycelium  from cyanescens  it's living  in a Lil bag as of right now . Iv grown gold teacher for cubes simple  spawn bag on rye . And yess I'm hoping that I can get a good amount  of chips to colonize to put in a outdoor  bed next spring in Michigan . What I was wondering  about the spore prints is if I cut up the paper  that the prints are on and put then in a jar or tub with the mycelium  I have if it will help or just be a waste  of prints and if the mycelium  will live thru a Michigan  winter . I don't belive I have the skill to fruit these beautiful  mushrooms  indoors

Plan locations best you can. Yes pampering will make huge difference. Especially dry years.
They will love Michigan. They have shorter fruiting window there but def would pop if you get healthy beds established.

Well cool I thought  that it,would  not be to big of a change for them it's a humid  lots of hard wood lots of rain in the fall and spring . I kinda figured it would be a shorter  time but hey if I can grow wild harvest cyanescens from oregon coast and get them to grow in Michigan  I'd be proud of my self lol . Is there a lot to growing  them indoor  because  from what iv read most say its, hard
