lets say somone's fruiting chamber was filled with disgusting mold...the chamber was cleaned with dish soap twice...then the chamber was wiped down twice with alcohol...however the gross smell of the mold still lingers. is this chamber safe for use again? does the smell mean mold still exists?

Do you have perlite in the fruiting chamber? If so, Maybe remove and clean with bleach. Bleach/Water spray everything...problem solved.

Use Lysol or some other hard surface disinfectant. Spray liberally and let it stand until dry, don't wipe. See if that helps, if not I suggest throwing it away and getting another because mold can be very annoying.
