Milo wet after pc

Sort of embarrassing... I've cultivated for a couple years but recently got back into it after a two year hiatus. My old grow buddy recommended milo, which I've never used before. I did all the basics: soak til they swell, hot water rinse and air dry. Into the pc they went, nice and plump with moisture but dry to the touch. After pc many have burst and are wet enough to stick the sides. There is obviously too much moisture. So I emptied the jars, dried further, re pcd that batch. The grains were not slimy though, just wet. The second batch I made damn sure was drier than the first. After pc, also too wet.
Whats the big idea? If they don't soak up by tomorrow, I am thinking of mixing with verm and pcing again. Worried about bursting grains further though. Any suggestions? I didn't think there'd be such a learning curve to this grain, despite my hiatus.

Milo bursts sometimes in the PC for me. Never had a problem with that though. If it shakes it's usually okay. I like to shake it right out of the PC. If all of it's bursting maybe you're soaking too long or too hot.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

A few different jars. Before and after shaking. Opinions? If they're no good, can they be amended with verm or should I just start over. I'm about to do an agar run so if they're salvageable it'd be nice to use them then.

I think they'll be fine. They look like they're loaded a bit heavy. Poor shaking potential due to overloaded jars will waste you more time than it will save you with efficient PC usage, especially with a2g, g2g, or sporesyringe2g.
There is a bit more condensation than I'm used to, not sure what's up with that. Don't think it'll be a problem though.

The excess moisture is completely normal after the PC cycle. Keep shaking it throughout the day to redistribute the grains and the extra moisture will evaporate over time. Just remove the foil from the top of the lid and let your GE filter do its job.
Oh and don't "amend" your jars with verm, that's just asking for problems. You wanna open your jars only once during inoculation (5 seconds or less in SAB) and of course before spawning/G2G'ing for the best rates of success.

Right on. Thanks yall. They've been out of the pc for 24 hours and some moisture has disappeared. I'll knock em up and see what happens. I find it funny that I am somewhat of an expert noob at this point. Jeez, what two years will do to a person.

You don't wanna know small grains can be a little tricky at first but are very rewarding given their inoculation power.

That's what I have found too. I hate to say it, given how popular they are, but using oats has been disappointing to say the least. I have a small agar wedge sitting in each jar (oats look really dry, and I boiled for 30+ minutes). The mycelium just refuses to colonize even one grain.
I'll be jumping back into using my grain of choice.. WBS!

Well the deed is done. They dried up to perfection after having them open in the hood . Hopefully my cultures are still good. Did some agar too. My buddy found an agaricon. Crossing my fingers that it takes!

I have found with oats LC's are my perfered innovulation method. If i am using agar i will switch to milo for master grain jars. Oats seem to run faster for me if my inoculation is liquid.
