These were found growing in the grass of a recently unused(10-12 months?) horse paddock in the upstate area of South Carolina.
Soil is a mix of sand and clay with years of horse poop and hay on top.
Size and color can easily be seen in the photos.
Spore prints jet black.

Pictures are worth a thousand words so I will let them talk.

Your first few pics are semiglobata , I think all of them are. They look just like ones I've found in the same habitat same region, same redish colored caps. Cool to see another observation of them from this area.
