BRF Cakes- First Grow- Finally Pinning 1

This is my first attempt of growing (BRF cakes), and my cakes have finally started to show signs of pinning after 3 weeks.
Do I pick them right before the cap tries to open ?

They need more fae. Pic of your fruiting chamber? Pick just as the veil starts to break.

You shouldn't really have to fan at all. The SGFC should provide all the FAE you need, some fan just for a couple seconds after misting to help jump start evaporation, otherwise your FC's FAE should do the rest. You don't have a fan on anywhere in the room do you?

Should you or should you not have a fan in the room for better FAE? So is it correct that the SGFC is designed to work best with a fan in the room?
Should the fan be located near the SGFC or away? Pointed in the direction or away? Any tips on how to position the fan in the room would be helpful.

SGFC should NOT be in a room with a fan. The fan disrupts the natural air circulation in the room and the flow of air through the SGFC.
Here is how these chambers work: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/20195542

No fan with SGFC. Hell I don't even use a fan with a mono. But a fan will totally fuck up a SGFC.

Also OPS cakes appear to be suffering from stroma. Less misting will help, also his caps areally saturated. Try misting just 2wice a day.

Here is a tip. Don't bother fanning a SGFC. Start with 3 mists a day and adjust from there. Only mist if the moisture from the last mist is completely gone.

If the veil is broken then it's time to harvest. Sometimes you get weird looking fruits, it could be a result of some weird genetics.

What woud be the consequences, if any, of letting it keep growing, and not harvesting it?
Its only 1 of the stems that looks open.. The others still look like pins.
If I do harvest it, that means I would literally have to run my food dehydrator for 10hrs just to dry one stem?

Yes. 1/4 holes, 2 inches apart throughout the tub.
As fas as the "opened" shroom goes. Do I harvest it or give it more time.
Am getting kinda anxious to try shrooms already. Any possibility that one shroom could weight 10 grams wet. I wouldnt mind picking it and taking my first trip tonight.
