Indoor Allenii grow...? Have I discovered the holy grail? :D

Alright folks,
I did an outdoor Allenii grow this year (that went to shit, write-up coming soonish)

and had an idea to test out if a mycelial mat under a Maiden Hair fern would make the fern grow better. the thinking was to improve the humidity around the plant, by spreading water through the mat, which had a inch thick layer fine horticultural grit on top of it, which would evaporate the water (a bit like in a SGFC with the perlite)
So the tray has 8 small holes in the bottom, through this are lengths of garden twine 10" long. these are placed in a tray beneath filled with water, so they wick up water from the base.

the woodchips with colonised cardboard and soil are placed. with the fern planted in one corner in garden compost mixed with a little woodchips, and fine horticultural grit.
and a little bench was made to give it a sense of size, a bit like with a bonsai, but that didn't quite work. (if anyone wants a more detailed explanation of the set-up, let me know, I can do diagrams etc. )
So this was in April. The scene has been in our front room in a shady spot in up by the window. I made sure I topped up the water in the bottom tray, and possibly 3 or 4 times I've watered it from above with a fine watering can.
The fern grew ok through the year, but others I have in pots that I watered normally did better. Then 3 weeks ago, I notice a bit of myc visible through the soil

and some small pins!!! (temperatures don't really get below 14degrees C at night)
So I popped it by a window to get some moving air over it as the pins had stalled. It didn't work and they all aborted
(spot the worm. fuck knows how that got in there. it must have been in the woodchip I put in)
this could be loads of reasons. temperature (higher/ lower), breeze (window was opened a crack randomly), humidity (really high when we cook in the kitchen, colder than front room at night), light (it had gone in a lighter spot) I dunno
so I figured indoor fruits were probably not going to happen. until a little friend popped up around the corner
 can you spot it?

here it is closer (spot the worm here too
So I'm hoping that this will do something... fingers crossed
I'll keep you posted

Probably is. They grew indoors for a couple people this past year, I had a grain jar try to pin.

Tuesday 10th Nov
Thursday 12th Nov
Saturday 14th Nov

Sunday 15th Nov Almost looks like a cyan... I did inoculate a grain jar with Cyan spores, however a month or so in there was no life so I re inoculated with allenii spores... So maybe it is...
I'll leave this a bit more then take a print
