Why do my mushrooms keep coming, but stay so small? (pics)

Hello mushroom lovers! I'm a beginning cultivator, and have been browsing mushroom forums for a while now, still learning a lot, and getting more serious about this rewarding hobby.
I do have a problem where I can't find an answer to.
Since saturday last week pinheads have been forming, and haven't really stopped doing so till yesterday.
The problem is that they all seem to stop growing at a certain size, and some of them are opening their caps.Multisporing perhaps?
I had a CO2 problem in the beginning causing them to have fuzzy feet, but since then I've been fanning more often.
The temperature is between 22 and 23,5 degrees and the humidity is about 90.
I think the reason they're not maturing properly had to do with the CO2 building up.
I'm wondering if this happens more often, and if they'll still mature eventually. They've been growing for 8 days now, is it possible they'll start to explode still and mature after two weeks, or will they most likely open up all of their caps at a tiny size, and is there a way to prevent this in a following flush?
Below are some pics.

Those are all aborting from choking in a bag.

Keeno, I'm afraid Pastywhyte answered your question.
I'll have a terrarium for my next flushes, but until then I'll have to use a plastic bag.
It's just a simple grow box I've bought, I'm planning to use spore syringes in the future and make my own substrate, but not right now.
Anything I can do right now to improve these conditions besides changing air more often?
These are PES Amazonians btw, I've had no problems with Mexicans, perhaps they're more forgiving?

Take it out of the bag once pins form. Mist well.
I often just drape some loose clear plastic or wax paper over top and fruit the tray like that. Mist well.

No fruiting chamber, just in the open air?
Will they still proceed to grow you think?

Yes. People have had fantastic results with open air. Just need to keep the misting up. If you're in a dry climate, drape the plastic or wax paper over it and it's not open air anymore. Pins need a really high RH to form but that is a microclimate. Once they start to mature RH is far less important while FAE becomes critical.

No aborts apparently, they are still growing, slowly, but going at it.

My first grow was AA+, GT, and BHT. The AA+ and GT, I spawned to hpoo/CVG, but the BHT stalled in the jars so I didn't bulk them up any. The 2 that I bulked up grew huge, but turned green after the first flush. The BHT, however, that I didn't bulk up any, are pinning for the fourth flush now, but they've all been really small instead of huge like pics on google search show them. I'm using a greenhouse setup with a cool mist humidifier.

Have you ever had them grow for two weeks or longer though?
I still see new pins popping up, while none of them are fully matured yet. At this rate I'm guessing at least another week, two if they're not opening their tiny little caps all at once, I'm going into week two now.

If you're letting them go like that, you may want to harvest as they open.
Yea, on the second and third flush, I let them all open to see if they would get any bigger. They made it to about 3-3 1/2" tall and started getting litle black spots, so I figured that was as big as they were getting.
They didn't lose as much weight drying tho. 29g fresh made 7.2g dry.
Make sure you mist and make sure there's plenty of FAE. Mine usually fully mature from pins in about 5-6 days.

They are not maturing because they are aborting. They will not grow any more but if left will start to either revert back to mycelium or become food for something else.

But they're getting bigger everyday though, it's a slow process, but everyday I see them getting a little bigger, so I guess they're not aborting after all in that case?
Or would they still abort eventually?
I might be a little slow right now as well, but let's just say I'm being hopeful instead.

Just watch for them to start getting black spots like they're beginning to rot or get bacterial blotch. If they're open, they're only putting on weight and not producing actives anymore anyway, so I would go ahead and harvest, but that's just me.

Yeah, I want to avoid them dropping spores, if they would at those sizes, so I'll definitely pick those, I'm just getting worried about therm growing so slow at the moment.
They're changing, so I guess that's still a good sign?
Do I look at the caps or stems for black spots?

I noticed them starting on the caps. But, these are still from my first successful grow, so you may get spots on stems too, honestly idk. I'm still learning too, only been at it since March.

Ok thanks!
I might have a few aborts then, not sure yet, I'll leave the rest and see what happens, if nothing improved in a week, I'm starting all over.

As long as you're getting mushrooms, take ehat it'll give you. I tjink mine may have been small because the sub ended up only being about an inch and a half thick. I believe deeper subs give bigger fruits. I've got 12 more jars colonizing, but I'm still letting these BHT go as many flushes as I can get before it goes green.

Don't eat anything colored though, it can cost your life.
