Question about the grain setting before sterilization

This is my first time using rye grain as substrate as previously I have used BRF cakes. I have prepped the grains and loaded them into the jars but am yet to sterilize them. Just curious of how long the jars can sit with the grain in them before the grains are ruined? I already had to restart due to pressure cooker difficulties and would rather be safe than sorry but if there's nothing to worry about then I will gladly continue into sterilization. The jars have been sitting for about 12 hours following a 20 hour soak. I have searched the forums and Google but am yet to find anything; perhaps my wording was just off? Anyways, Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Further things set off the sterilization.... Currently at about 60 hours, I'm rather unsure of if sterilizing them at this point will even be worth it still.... Thoughts?

You'll be fine at 12 hours. PC them up!

I brought the grain to a full boil for 10 minutes after soaking.
Was unable to finish sterilizing jars because of problems with pressure cooker... Sterilizing after jars sitting for 40 hours I feel like may be a long shot. Any thoughts?

My grain gets delayed before PC'ing all the time.
Put the prep'd grain in the refrigerator and you are good for days.
cool it off. stop the fermentation

Any microorganisms that grow should be killed in the run. You just don't want them expanding to the point that they have had a significant chemical impact. 12 hours is fine. Fridge is a good idea, though letting them come back to room temp before PC'ing or increasing your PC times to compensate for the lower starting temp would be a good idea.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...

Ive let mine sit for 48 houres befor. I generally leave my grains in a tote rather than jars if they aren't getting PCed right away.
