Wild mushroom identification
    #22494961 - 11/08/15 09:57 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

Habitat:
This morning while on my way to deer hunt, I came across a couple different breeds of mushrooms. This is in the area of Waco Texas, in between Austin and fort worth. We just had some rain, and it's been a bit humid. These were found in a field that has cows, and also the darker ones were found in an older pile of manure. I have a pretty dark spore print from the fewer/larger all white mushrooms. But none of the bruise blue.

Gills:
The gills on the all white ones are also white, and do not connect to the stem . The goal on the smaller/darker mushrooms are black, very thin and I think this is because there is spores all over the gills. and I have not done a spore print yet for the darker one.

Stem:
The stem on the white ones are of the same color, but have a grain going down the length of the stem. There is no ring. On the darker mushrooms there is also no ring, and the texture is very silky.

Cap:
Calls on both of these breeds are conical. The darker ones are although much deeper cones unlike the white ones.

Spore print color:
After trying to bruise the darker cap, I happened to get actual spots on my finger and they are black. On the more white mushrooms, the spore print is grey/maybe black, and seem to have a small tint of blue too the print.

Bruising:
On the whiter mushroom, it just makes the bruise more tan. Panaeolus antillarum

Other information:
The mushrooms seem to have that almond type scent too them much like cubes
