Anyone here who has a biogas system for heating purposes?
    #22494186 - 11/08/15 03:19 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

AnyOne here who makes biogas(anaerobic digester) for pasteurizing and sterilizing substrates?

What can you say about it?
Been contemplating on this build for a while now so I wouldn't have to use petrol LPG/ propane for heating.. LPG just gets expensive each day...

Cool idea but will that produce enough gas for say a 2+ hr sterilization run and what is the end prooduct being made fuelwise?

I imagine 2 units of the digester drum would (to sustain heat in a pressure cooker it needs less flame, yes?) ...if you can catch more gas like an inflatable rubber or whatever, you store more gas too.

You end up with a liquid fertilizer rich in nutrients once you exhaust the gas... im precisely interested with these because I wanna feed my algaculture with the said byproduct as well..

Ps. You may also upscale this according to your needs.  It doesn't have to be drums also... It can be concrete or bricks or whatever...

What do you mean? Steam pasteurize? On a stovetop?

Try your washing machine dryer for 5-10 secs.

Except you can use your PC without the weight for steam. Just attach the hose onto the top of the PC.

Favorited for future build. thanks
I'm sure I saw that one before I just wasn't paying attention maybe.
