I used to think of psychedelics as a "teacher", and indeed I think at one time I learned a few lessons from the experiences I had. However, I do not think that there are anymore lessons for me to learn from taking psychedelics. I do not think that there is any dose at which I would "have my mind blown". When I take psychedelics, I simply feel "at home". The more I take, the more "at home" I feel. I fully welcome any opportunity to challenge this belief, of course.
I can't really think of any reason to challenge it. Everyone experiences the psychedelic experience differently. Therefore it would be redundant to try to tell someone else what they can experience from substances, when the person has already experienced said substance several times. If someone feels there is nothing else for them to "learn" from psychedelics, chances are they won't learn anything else.
Hell, it's all subjective honestly. You may be able to go into a trip truly believing you are going to learn something and learn jack-shit in the end. It depends on the individual...
All I am saying is, if someone offers me an IV 150mg hit of DMT, I am not going to turn it down. Maybe my mind will be blown, but I doubt it. I have a feeling I know what to expect, and I have a feeling I will come away from it having experienced what I expected to experience. Which is how my psychedelic experiences have been for the last several years of my life.

I second that.

Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Felt an emotional hangover today. Mentally sluggish, low on energy, mildly depressed. Obviously there was a serotonin drain as a result of taking the shrooms. I won't be taking them again. These days value mental sharpness and emotional stability above temporary changes in consciousness.
