    #22491599 - 11/07/15 04:06 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

ASuccessful hunts but this batch leaving me paranoid. I'm certain just need confirmation. Caps have turned whiteish after air drying for one day.

Typical characteristics present, wavy, blue etc
Thank you

They are a bit beat up and some look overmature but those are them.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it.
If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

Thank you for the confirmation - overly cautious but I guess that is a good thing.
How often do you recommend I should visit my cyan spot? I usually give it a good week but like you've seen they end up in this state.

If there are still pins or otherwise immature mushrooms check every 2-4 days. If there are none, wait at least a week or continue checking every 2-4 days because you can't help yourself.

Ace, will do - cheers for the help. Do you use any tips on maintaining the patch / how to expand?
I'm aware they thrive off of woodchips but is there any in particular that are specially suited for cyans? It's quite a small patch, so to expand I suppose I add more wood chips?
