Panaeolus ?
not too sure about the 4, gills down, 3rd row, in first picture.
Take photo of spore print, and where the gills meet the stem.

interesting...
Uploading a photo of spore print and of the gills and stem will help with the identification.
Suggest not doing anything with the mushrooms until a 'trusted identifier' has confirmed which species.

They do appear to be some type of Panaeolus, but, if the spore print is any thing but jet black they are not active

Update, So after doing some research I found more information on different Panaeolus strains. Just ended up drying them and taking them. Never have tripped out so hard in my lifetime!!

Interesting.. what research did you unearth on different Panaeolus strains? Did you narrow down the species? What drying procedure did you do? What size dosage did you consume? How long did you trip for?

I'd also be interested in more info and what species you narrowed these down to if they had you tripping

I am not a professional and nor am I 100 percent sure about what species these mushrooms are but this is what I narrowed it down to panaeolus cinctulus, panaeolus fimicola and panaeolus papilionaceus. Picked them in a pasture, took spore prints and it was purplish brown and jet black. Washed them and dried them for about an hour and a half. They have a very tangy sour taste to them. I had about a gram and my husband had 2 grams. Within 40 mins we were in a full blown trip!!! I've never experienced anything that strong. I didn't get nauseous at all!! Just my whole body tingling and feeling like I was melting. I definitely will be taking a smaller dose next time.

If you found these to be psychoactive, please keep a couple dried for microscopy.
