the best experience of my life was growing up, next it'll be dying.
i am just trying to consolidate the entire question in one finite answer...personally, aside from that tid-bit of bullshit, i have had some really nice experiences on drugs, with friends, and with my own joy of discovery.
basically anything new = good experience. i couldn't just nail down one or two specifics...
especially since i've got alot ahead of me still, i hope.
but basically if i had to sum it up:
drug peaks
laughing alot with friends
being places - anywhere - that was in nature or in public masses
cartoons and video games when i was younger, and sports, i remember when i actuallly played sports, lol...playing with other kids via actual contact (play fighting, tag, ect), and not just shooting shit or shooting the shit.
ect ect ect
it never really ends until it ends.

thanks. i watched TD for the umpteenth time recently and i had to use this neato fanart i found on google. it's fitting. plus it's my favorite look for Bickle, obviously, when he's gone full retard and is just shit-grinning at secret service men. shit's hilarious.

I was thinking that too. Meeting the first girl I fell in love with was one of the best times of my life, however I didn't say it because I hate her now and the way things ended made me regret every moment I spent with her. But at the time before shit hit the fan, it was one of te best times of my life.

Hearing my son's little mewling cries for the first time. Holding him. Makes me get misty eyed just thinking about it.
I took a few cool trips to Europe in 2002-03. One to Germany with some old friends, one to England with some awesome ladies, and the best vacation was to Amsterdam with my father.
Until I was 10 or so my grandparents had this amazing house on the Shrewsbury River in NJ. It's the setting for my happiest childhood memories.
In the late 90s I went to about a million raves. Not that all or even any if them were the "best experience", but the general spirit of the time was fantastic. I was 16-18, young enough that I had pretty much no real responsibilities, but old enough that I had plenty of freedom. Had very close friends, lots of good drugs, was absolutely carefree. I look back at the whole 90s rave scene, the zeitgeist that created it, and am grateful to have been a part of it all.

the wife and I tried for eight long years and went through many doctors and many meds before it worked. there is a night when we first took my son home and I was holding him rocking him in the rocking chair than was my mom's and before that my grandmother's (3 generations of kids rocked inthis chair) thinking about ever let down and negative pregnancy test over the previous eight years. that evening iI cried harder than I ever have in my life while staring into my boys eyes.
the fourth time I took shrooms was the first time I took then not as a party dug.I was 17, and had hiked up to the peak of the small mountain ridge behind my parents house. I absolutely lost myself up there in the woods and let go for the first time in my life and for the first time felt deep deep love and beauty all around and came to the realization that it can stem from me infinitely if I simply choose.

Doing a ranger course in SA was without a doubt the best. Sleeping outdoors for a month, waking up before the sunrise, hiking through the bush, eating full English breakfasts, getting lectures on the wildlife and the ecosystem, hosting game drives, playing cards at night while the hyena's keep sneaking up on your back... Awesome times.

The first thing that comes to mind is my first blow job I'm not even kidding. I was hooked from that moment on.
I don't really have a lot of great experiences in my life. I have a kid, so I know I'm supposed to say watching him be born, but fuck that. That was just traumatizing. Wife was in labor for 21 hours or some shit. Watching someone you care about in that much pain for that long, is devoid of all beauty. Not to mention that when it finally does happen, it ends up looking like a murder scene. It is nothing like what they show in movies/tv shows.
My best shroom trip comes to mind. 5 or so grams powdered in capsules. I can't count how many trips I've had, but none compare to that one. I was just gone and it was in the best sense possible. Hours long full body orgasms and transcendence. At one point I was one with everything and everyone. There was no I or they. I was part of the rest of the planet beaming positive vibes into deep space like some kind of beacon is the best I can really do to explain it. In that moment I actually believed every single thing was connected and linked at the conscious level. If all my trips were like that, I'd probably be doing it every few days for the rest of my life. There really aren't words to explain that experience.
At the time they meant little, but I look back on a lot of the experiences with my brother and am very grateful to of had them. He was my best friend and we had a lot of good times. I cherish those memories.
I didn't get my driver's license until I was 28 or so. I got caught with weed when I was 18, and one of the automatic penalties here, is that you get suspended for 6 months. I waited the 6 months and then started trying to get it. I played a week long game of phone tag with the DMV trying to figure out how to get it after those months were up. At the end of it I was told I had to attend some specific drug class which only existed over an hour away, and was basically a 40 hour course (8 hours a day, 5 days total). You have to attend all 8 hours, and all 5 days in a row. If you don't do either, you start over. I had no one at all who could drive me that far, drop me off, and come back to pick me up and especially not for 5 days in a row. Years later when I finally did have that option, I couldn't get any information from the DMV on what class it was I had to attend. Suddenly no one had any fucking idea at all. So the matter got dropped yet again. Years later, it turns out ALL OF THIS was complete bullshit, I was eligible for my license, and that I had been routinely given false information for YEARS. Finally getting my license was pretty damn amazing. When I think back on all of it now, I want to go fucking postal on the DMV, at the time I was only ecstatic I could finally legally drive. Now that I'm used to it, I'm back to wanting to kick the shit out of everyone I talked to over the years. Get your fucking shit together you stupid mother fuckers.
--------------------
With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being With your face all made up, living on a screen. Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline
