I am completing my first grow and my Golden teachers are coming to their 3rd flush or have already been removed . For me the Golden teachers colonized the Jars at a Moderately/fast rate but my PESA jars were inoculated 3 weeks afterwards were 100% colonized only a week after my first Golden teacher pin appeared.
The fruitng i had on my golden teacher jars seem to consist of one large fruit and maybe 4-6 moderate sized fruits .(Only about 36g yields fresh)

Also when eating these mushrooms they proved to be VERY potent and some very dark blue/black bruising on fruits in the later flushes.
I doubt I will be growing more Golden teacher in my next grow . I had a much nicer experience with my PES amazonian but I feel like i may have just lucked out with the genetics in that situation
:Note: This was my first grow and i am definitely not an expert. Everything I experienced could be a product of my lack of experience cultivating mushrooms.
What was your Golden Teacher growing experience like ?

Don't give up on your golden teachers. I love them, they taught me so much.

oh man that's probably more than all of my flushes combined. I really want to try monotubs!

It was a dubtub grow. I was hesitant to try a full-scale mono at first, but now that's all I do
Here's the setup. It had 1 quart spawn and about 4 quarts of CVG sub(and some coffee grounds), bucket tek'd.

My avatar picture is from my first GT monotub. Absolutely love GT. Got a print in my stash I need to get going on agar. GT seemed to always be my fail safe with cubes. If I ever had to reorder, it would be GT.

Haha actually no. I mean I've played with pans. I go hunting all the time. But just don't have the extra space where I live to do anymore than what I do now.

Yeah these tubs were easy to maintain. I misted it occasionally, usually whenever I saw the surface dry out a bit.
Now that I think about it, I could've benefited from having holes in the bottom tub, more FAE would've stimulated a better pinset. Instead, I might have had a bit of stagnant CO2 laden air at the surface level, given the low level of the sub.
