Hey Folks,
got this mono-tub going for 6 days now, i used 2 quart jars of rye and 2 quart jars of verm for the rez-effect tek, then i cased with a 50:50 mix of verm and peat moss, i think the fruits are quite small, aren't they? i know that most of them will get bigger, but what i mean is, they're smaller than fruits that are grown with rye only, right?

That tub doesn't look good.
Remove the tape you have on your liner. Are you saying that tub is ONLY 2 quarts rye and verm? Then cased? Surely thats not what you meant.

I meant ur color scheme .the size of ur fruits isnt the issue .the issue is that verm isnt a very nutritious medium for a bulk mix and yes take off tape so the water can run down the tub not into tub

So you didn't add any bulk substrate? Just vermiculite and spawn?
Your substrate shrinks as fruiting progresses and the mycelium eats the substrate. You want your liner to shrink with it.

I have had good results with rez effect. You still need to make sure it's getting enough water supplied just as you have to with bulk. 1:1 ratio is going to run the risk of too little water to support your pinset just as it can with manure or coir.
I personally would pour a bit of water in at the side of the liner there to help the less mature fruits do a bit better.

Thought unless you were bottomwatering straight rye grains, I find it unlikely that they would be able to support bigger fruits than half rye half verm.
Def try watering it a bit during the flush, and probably dunk it between flushes for a couple hours.
Lastly, if you're using multispore, the genetics can vary the phenotype. The genetics may also react different to different substrates.
Even if you want to continue to use straight verm rather than coir or poo in the future, a 1:2 spawn ratio is probably advisable.

I spawned some popcorn casings and had double-overlay cause I didn't put enough hydrogen peroxide in my automated aquarium mister. I only got one mushroom so I cut off the head part where the seeds fall from and put it in a jar of LC and sprayed it all over a tin of PF cakes I made with gravel, cardboard, and bisquick in my microwave. I think it will be good cause B+ is so potent. Triggered yet? Only a square would say "a cube is a cube."
No, this does not look right...
