Some opinions on discoloured Pachanoi 1

Hey all how are we? I've had a new alleged pachanoi now for a few months and has been growing nicely (and quite quick) now as Spring is now upon us. I've noticed a bit of discoloration and it seems to be getting a tad lighter in colour overall.
My question is what does everyone think is going on here? She's getting a good 4-6 hours of direct sun and a liquid seaweed fert every week or two, so is this colouring just normal new growth and am I just being a pedantic parent haha... Any input will be much appreciated as I am keen to know all there is about Trichocereus species
Peace, Sillycybe...

Im sure its normal.
How much direct sunlight does the plant get per day?

I don't mean the stripes, I mean the general uneven spread of colour and the shade is very light to me.

Oh and like I said it gets at least 4-6 hours of direct sun a day. She now lives outside against an east facing wall.

If that, I feed my mine with nutes maybe 3-4 times a year, max. They don't need much, lighter colour is totally normal for new growth.

In the summer, when I am actively watering mine, I give a light fert about every fourth watering. So that´s about 3 or 4 times total.

And how often are you watering? I could probably water mine nearly twice a week but to be safe I'm just doing it once, temperature around here are around 23.C or 73.F

Once a week, with tap water left for a day to dechlorinate. I could stick a moisture meter into every pot and do lots of calculations - but my guys just seem to love what I give them. I use only unglazed terracotta pots, btw.

Be aware that tap water sometimes contains chloramine as well, which does not evaporate very quickly at all. It can take weeks and weeks.

Ok thanks guys, and I only use rain water on my plants too so I won't have to worry about any chemicals and as you can see using plastic pots which will be able to retain a little less water. Thank you all for setting me on the right track!!
Peace!
