So- I've been reading that they aren't "active" in the typical sense, ie negligible amounts of psilocybin, 'cept for a batch found by Joust. None of them are bruising, although they've been chillin' in my backpack for the past 7ish hours. I have heard, however, that they have a bunch of goodies which have been solely isolated in Gyms. Does any one have any literature about the constitutes? Since Junonius has been show to have psilocybin in other localities, would these different chemicals be present in NorCal varieties? Damn- I may need to freshen up my chemistry... Btw somethin' like 3.8lbs fresh.

Is the only macroscopic difference between them a thickened middle stipe?
Edit: "Gymnopilus ventricosus (Earle) Hesler Cap 6-10cm across" via http://www.rogersmushrooms.com/gallery/DisplayBlock~bid~5981.asp
So- these are wayyyy bigger than 10cm...
