In-home greenhouse

Im working on building a in-home greenhouse. The ones you can buy are all expensive and generally just really poor quality. Iv got the stand i want but thats it so far. Its going to be a multi level greenhouse capable of creating different environments on each level depending on the plants i would ever want to grow that are to0 finicky to just grow on my porch.
So in theory id would be able to create a cold/winter climate on the bottom shelf while creating a warm/tropical climate on the top.
As of now its just the stand, but i plan on filling the holes in the shelves with insulation. Thats easy, i just need to pick the insulation. I plan for 2 layers of plastics sheeting. One big one on the outside to encompass the whole terrarium and plastic sheeting individually sealed in each shelf for easy cleaning of mold buildup or spills, etc. Both sets of plastic having zippers for the ability to enclose each section. This is alot more difficult. Simply because i have no idea of how to properly do this.
How would i bind the plastic sheeting together? How would i attach the zippers? What kind of zippers should i use?
For now that will suffice, i know this project may take time and money. But for homemade quality i think its well worth it.

Velcro.
What size is this stand? I'm not crazy about your basic premise or design. I'd do a side by side approach and use double wall polycarbonate between the sections.

I'm also trying to construct a greenhouse: for over the winter.
Saw a really neat set up with a PVC frame, can't recall where though.
At this point thinking of just wrapping plastic around my easy-up, fastening my grow lights up top.
My plants don't get any more tropical zoned than the Boston Ferns, so not worried about sealing them in- I am more concerned about ventilation and mold.

Wrap with a space blanket with foil side facing in. Will give a little air flow and not tend to condense like plastic. Ventilation is key, use a small fan to constantly move air. Place at bottom facing back and up at 45 deg will create convection flow...

Scrap Window Greenhouse
This kind of project just requires you to make the most of the old and unwanted window frames that are lying in your junkyard. Simply make the basic wooden structure (foundation) and with the help of screws adjust and assemble the windows on it. You can add tin roofing and add glass to the windows which have broken ones. Simply add flowers to it so that beauty can be enhanced.
