Make proper containers and do more than one plate.
I had to double take it when I first looked too pasty lol

It's a sideways pasty plate that got inoculated through the poly, and bacteria at the inoculation point... I do believe...nope, I just checked again...I have no idea what is going on there.

The agar is light brown, the lid is red. The pic is from the bottom, yes.

Bacteria and myc IMO. I can see the carpetty rhizmorphs. Stay away from the yellow bacteria. I don't see why you can't get a clean culture after a few transfers from that plate.

I've got my fingers crossed. Need to get find my scalpel and get another agar tray made up. I've got petris, but I haven't reasoned how to get them into the current SAB; Needs to be redesigned.

Sometimes you just gotta go and upgrade your sab haha. And tbh I didn't realize it was just poly.. Unless the myc is hiding under the poly.. It doesn't look good to me

I've got half a mind to just open one of the jars I'm trying to colonize and take a tissue sample from the live mycelium and transfer that to agar. The bacteria droplet doesn't seem too promising.

Just wait until the jar is 100% then execute that plan...
