Sleepy time tea blend
    #22486301 - 11/06/15 02:05 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

Hello, I have been trouble sleeping lately, even with guided meditations and relaxation breathing and what not. I really cant afford not sleeping like I'm sure most of you, so I'm trying to make my own blend instead of buying sleepy time tea.

My beginning thoughts are
melissa officinalis
Passion Flower
Sage
Lavender? (I'ma guy so idk about that)

My questions are what else would be good for sleep? And what proportions should I use?
Thanks

Valerian, hops, wood betony(elephant head, indian warrior, parrot's beak etc), kava, skullcap, lemon balm, calendula.

Poppy seed tea will definitely help you get to sleep but it shouldn't be used too often as it is an opiate.

i have struggled with insomnia for over 10 years, and for the past six months, I have actually been sleeping through the night almost daily, which is a miracle. I have tried EVERYTHING. not even prescription sleep meds work for me.

I currently take one dropper full of California poppy extract, a calcium/magnesium supplement with vitamin d, and a supplement called gaba calm from source naturals (a very reliable supplement supplier). this combination has been nothing short of a miracle.

give it a shot op. if it worked for me im sure it can work for anyone.
