Gills: Purplish brown gills, attached, convexed
Stem: 1 3/4 long a little less than an 1/8 in thick, whitish brown even after picking.Purplish blue hue at stem-cap connection, almost hollow with strands.
Cap: 1 3/4 in diameter, its a beautiful yellow-orange center with purple to light purple around the yellow, it sticky when wet.its no longer convexed. Edges have rippled upward.
Spore print color: Purplish-brown

Other information: I have compared it to psilocybe caerulipes-purple an it is identical. Its not letting me post a pic sorry

Not if you can't join in the fun. If you keep a good humor you'll see it's all in good fun. We really only get upset when people are being genuinely troublesome. Don't take it too personally.
when you upload your picture you will be given a line of BBCode. Copy this and paste it into the post you are making. It will give you your picture formatted to show an expandable thumbnail.

Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

I really wasn't trying to be condescending, I thought for sure if you clicked those 2 things you could figure it out. I honestly can't wait to see your mushroom, I have been waiting patiently since you replied to that 6 year old thread

No worries, I dont get upset about things like this. My reply may have seemed that way, but I truly wasnt. I am just excited to get confirmation. I have tried the regular method Dr. It replies that it cannot upload due to the fact it is a jpeg. I will try cannids' method. Hopefully it will work. I have been searching for a few months an thought I found p.cubes a month ago but Im having medical issues that takes my ability to walk. So needless to say, when I could walk again they were gone. Thank yall for the info!

It's an interesting one but I can say for sure it's not Psilocybe caerulipes. Those distant gills have me leaning toward hygrocybe but the texture doesn't seem right.

I have seen multiple prints of cubes when I was growing them from substrate jars. I was definitely hoping it was. Would have been my first wilderness find. Oh well, Ill keep searching. I have plenty of time to waste lately. Thank you both for the feed back. It was most definitely a beautiful shroom. An also, I didnt see any bruising blue either. Thats what had me question its species. Thanks again! I will have more to post tomorrow as it is going to rain.
