Alright my friends it's time for another Zombi3 supporter account giveaway!
This time for all you lovely people here in the ethnobotanical garden!
Following suit with my usual way of determining the recipient, I will give away the account to whomever gets the most plus ones on their post in this thread!
Now some simple rules: 1. Your post must contain a picture you took yourself of any plant you have grown yourself. If you rip off a picture from Google and you get the most plus ones, you will not win. Original pictures please! 2. You can post as many times as you want just please keep it to ONE plant picture per post! 3. Have fun and be nice to each other ok? Don't forget to plus one your favourite pictures!!
All I typically ask for in return is for you to plus one my original post (this post) as per usual with my contests.
My account giveaway contests usually last between 7-10 day FYI.
So let's get it started my friends!

This is a few colas from my second hydro grow, first under Led. I currently have a single Durban Poison (sativa) growing but its only a couple weeks into flower. They are under a DS400 advanced LED and two T5 flouros

Good to see another LED grower! For half a dozen grows I was running a 600w HPS with a 300w LED. I wasn't happy with the LED alone, it never produced the rock hard dense nuggets that the HPS does. But man the extra spectrum from the LED helps.
I also offset my lights to have the LED coming on 15 before the HPS and 15 minutes after the HPS. So my LED was on 18.5 hours in veg, I did that for no reason other than to more closely mimic the sun lol. It doesn't just go from no light to full sun in the morning it's a gradual rise. So my thought was wake up everybody with the LED 15 mins before the HPS then blast them with both during the day and again in the evening switching back to LED. I thought it would mimic the gradual light change during sunrise an sunset. It probably did nothing but it made me happy
I'll shit my pants when they make an LED with the same canopy penetration an HPS has.

I have a 1000W and 600W hps but I live in the desert and I already pay a lot to keep my house cool, My A/C runs from Jan. 15- Nov. 15. I want a second LED but the nice ones are really expensive. I paid $1200 for the one I have now and that was with a discount.
I added 3 X 4ft T8 lights this time on the side to bring more light to the bottom. I already had them or I would have gotten T5's. The lights are off in the room atm but i'll take a picture tonight since I need to remove a bunch of fan leaves anyways.

If its the same plant it qualifies, I just didnt want people throwing up 50 different plants in one post and getting crazy +1's for a garden instead of an individual plant. I wanna see quality specimens not picture dumps basically.

What is your harvest weight under that set-up?

Little Off topic on that those are pics taken in may, july and november 2014, plus june 2015
the one entered for the contest was snapped fw days ago.
I bought the plant in the first photo, and it proved to grow as fast as columnars do (provided with great waterings and fertilization)
crests that are often sold are cuttings of other crests, ergo, you see them cresting from the base. i Don't know if this one was seed grown or cutting, but the columnar part, is not exactly columnar. Those indeed are different from regular columnar Myrtile, wich do have 4-8 ribs (more commonly 5 or 6). Myrtiles with 10-16 ribs, wich grow vertically should be considered already crests, as the apical meristem will switch from point to line asset soon. this may not happen immediately, as sometimes it will happen later, resulting in something that is not stable, with high baricenter wich may fall often ( wich may require a cutting to get a pretty crest from the base and a lot of rootstock for grafting or else)

Yes, fasciation is the tecnical term for cresting, when the Apical meristem changes from point to line.

Heres a gnarly front line costal shrub, growing in limestone.
I spent what seemed like hours, staring stoned at this thing. Pondering how old, its twisted ass could be.

I totally missed this question, this is my first grow with screens, I made them using contacters sting (the stuff they use for chalk lines) when it comes time to harvest I will just cut the strings. I need to do a better job with the frame anyways its not straight. As for harvest weights I tend to start smoking the bud as it cures so I've never actually recorded a harvest weight. I will try this time though just for reference

Awesome! Twisted old roots are great. I found this one outside the Kehlsteinhaus, Berchtesgaden (aka Eagle's Nest)

yeah there are some sub variations of sedum album out there.
Some exhibit some (red) from environmental stress.. such as heat, or cold. In Summer they sometimes do a lot of red and go into (CAM) Crassulean-Acid-Metabolism. However, there are some sub varieties that are bred to have color. I know there are now (golden) or high hellow variations, and also rubies and reds like the one that is in your photo, that stay red all year long. caring for them is easy. You care for them just like you would the cactus, that it is in the pot with, a companion. I will say this though. They can take a lot more water than the cactus can. My sedum albums are in the ground here in the pacific northwest and get lots of environmental rain and moisture. My cacti, would not be able to withstand that much water and would rot out. in fact very few cacti survive outdoors here, besides Opuntias. Its either too cold, or too wet.. or both..for cacti to survive in ground here all year round.

So did El Torcho ever get that supporter acct? I harvested my plant here are some pics, I still have a shitload of trimming to do. I tried to get a good pic of the knuckle of a stump but i'm no photographer.
Btw I just bunched them together like that for the picture, they aren't so crowded now.

Another Jack Flash grow

And another Jack Flash grow. Same strain changes colour based on room temp due to season i.e. winter results in purpling plants.

My old NFT system with 3000w HPS, changed it to jumbo channels – far superior.

In the process of trimming. Most boring job of all.
