[ID please] Texas Cube? (Found in mulch)
    #22481710 - 11/05/15 04:09 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

I'm 98% confident this is a cube. Found this bad boy on mulch in the middle of Houston.

Can anyone confirm?

Any estimates on weight here?

It is Psilocybe cubensis.

It is not unheard of to find cubes on mulch in Texas.

That's a bit more than a quarter ounce, decently strong trip for two. An 8th is a fairly strong dose.

Thanks! 7.8 grams dried under a fan! Should be fun for 3 of us.

Does anyone here have experience eating mulch grown cubes? If so, how does it compare to dung or cakes? The linked thread (above) has suggests they might be more potent.

Potency is all over the place and can't really be determined by what they physically grow in (unless I'm completely wrong then someone correct me). Dosage will be around the same considering they're cubensis no matter what.
