Suspected Oysters but I'll leave this to the pros!

SO these should be pretty easy for you guys as I suspect they are oysters of some kind. Just wanted to double check with the experts.

Habitat:
Growing out of dead hardwood logs, although I can't tell you for certain which type of hardwood for certain.

Gills:
white/tanish

Stem:
White,Tan

Cap:
flat smooth surface, oyster in shape.

Temps: Been getting down to the low 40s at night up to high 60s during the past few days.

Location: Southern United States
