Hi Folks,
bought two lentinula edodes culture bricks (beech tree sawing mill) on ebay. Here are two pics of each, looks good so far, waiting for the spores for printing.
I want to recultivate the mycelium on beech tree chips and a on beech tree dowels. Anyone knows how to do that the best? waiting for the last flush? or right now?
Heard that the best time for harvesting shiitake is before they begin sporing?
6.12. had them about 7 days in the cellar. Put them both for 24h in cold water, thats about 2 weeks ago. second harvest wave of one brick, the other brick does not even popcorning.

7.11. Harvested second brick, made Spore prints of 3 shroom heads. Put Both bricks in the cellar for regeneration.
6.11. Harvested one brick, the pictures are before harvesting

5.11. PICs:

30.10. shiitake was in my post, unpacked the package. popcorning of small shrooms has already begun. Bought two big transparent plastic boxes. in these boxes i put the green lower part of a small plastic mini classhouse. in that i placed a small sheet of papier...on the paper i placed the brick. in the big transparent box i put about 300ml of normal water

*smile* Do you think the Paper isnt necessary?
Today i harvested one brick....pics added to the poste. Still no Spores....so i have to wait a lil bit longer before i harvest the second brick? Should I put the harvested brick into a dark room? What temperatures does the brick need there to regenerate?
greets
