Robin Trower gets my vote, that man can play some funkin heavy blues

This full concert video from youtube captures him perfectly:
Robin Trower - Full Concert - Rockpalast Crossroads, Bonn - 2005
-------------------- Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

Definitely some nice slide guitar.
I really love the few recordings of Pink Floyd playing the blues, good stuff:
This is the cleanest recording I know of from one of the BBC sessions

Which music? 'Tis all pretty great, Robin Trower is the most "fresh" to me though so I dig it the most as of now.
I have been a huge floyd head for years though and love a lot of more classical stuff like what you posted as well.
Some of The Black Crowes songs have a pretty vibin bluesy southern rock sound, this is one of my favorites:
The Black Crowes - Hotel Illness - Live From The Artists Den
First live version I have heard I believe.

Yeah I saw that it was a playlist, I was just thinking the other day how its chill you can share youtube playlists like that.
I usually just make em on my phone/ ipod but I may start making them on there again.
I would have checked out more of your playlist but I had another song or two lined up that I moved onto right after that first song.
Still not even half way through that live concert and I just realized Robin put out a new album this year I need to check out a bit

I'm not real big into the Blues genre, but B.B. King deserves some recognition here.

Gonna have to start ignoring these shitposters that have been registering lately (Not referring to OP, this was directed at someone I ignored who posted a John Mayer song here)
Some of my favorites are John Lee Hooker, Lightin' Hopkins, Robert Johnson, and Hound Dog Taylor. Been pretty into Mississippi Fred McDowell lately too
Love that hill country blues sound. I got really into playing/singing the blues earlier this year but I've kinda fallen out of the habit.
