my new toy
    #2247867 - 01/17/04 06:30 AM (13 years, 3 months ago)

Well I finally decided on the iRiver 590t mp3 player and I think, sorry
know I?ve picked the best one to fill my needs. 256mb, radio, 5 setting
graphic equalizer and a few other things I?ve still to find out about.
The sound quality is second to none, it actually blew me away how
good it sounds, I never thought a thing so small thing could sound so good.

The build quality?s the best of all the small players and I should know, I
ordered, MPIO which was more expensive, Pendrive, Pickaone and
Creatrive and the all felt flimsy and easy broken compared to the iRiver.

Another thing I decided on was quality is better than quantity, in other
words I could have got a 512mb for just a fraction more but I new the
build was inferior so opted for this.

Everyone?s needs are different some people need 10 or 20 gig HD players,
I wanted something light, easy to carry around and most of all have a
great sound and iRiver were the ones who could supply the package.

IMO you should have invested in an IPOD. But if you're happy with what you have purchased, then I'm happy you're happy.

Of course there is more to mp3s then an Ipod, no one is saying there isn't. Everyone has a choice to buy what they want, we just gave you our opinion.

Believe it or not, I've never seen an iPod commercial -- but knowing roughly what they do ( music thingy right? ), they sound pretty cool.

Toshiba invented the small ass hard drive that'll allow devices the size of the unit shown above to hold up to 40 gigs  ...which, upon re-reading the article I linked, I've realized is exactly what the iPod has in it, so that iPod thing should be pretty damn small :crazy2:

But that's how technology goes - I'm still pissed how I spend mucho dinero on my computer when 6 months later it's lost 30% of its value

But my computer's cool ~ and in the end all that matters is that you are satisfied with your purchase
