Definite active Psilocybe. Compare with Psilocybe allenii which is where my money would go.
--------------------
Attn PWN hunters: If you should come across a bluing Psilocybe matching P. pellicolusa please smell it. If you detect a scent reminiscent of Anethole (anise) please preserve a specimen or two for study and please PM me.

They've become incredibly common over the last 10-15 years. They have been around the US Pacific coast for decades (one of the color plates in Mushrooms demystified depicts them, but is labeled as Psilocybe cyanescens) but they only comparatively recently were published and officially recognized as a distinct species.
The potency is roughly comparable to Psilocybe cyanescens; they are pretty strong.
