Habitat: In a field by a creek. Right out side philly. Near a horse stable. Mosit clay like earth with some dead tree limbs about. Quite beautiful. (This is my first post. So if I'm doing it wrong don't yell at me)
Gills: Separated. Brown. With every other one going to the middle of the cap. The ones in between are shorter and don't extend all the way to the center of the cap.
Stem: 2-4cm, diameter not large. Maybe half a cm, light brown, firm almost snaps when bent, hollow, thin.
Cap: Diameter 1-2 cm. Small, light brown at head point. Gets lighter as you move towards the outside. With a darker brown speckled ring towards the outside of the cal, (((texture, conical/spherical, convex\concace)) I'm not sure how to describe the ones in the (()). I will attach good pics. If you could tell me how you should describe them so I can provide better descriptions in future I would appreciate it.
Spore print color:greyish. Picture attached. Honestly, I picked them like a month a go n cannot remember. N my pic isn't super. It was either grey black or brown Very important!
Bruising: Tried to look for brushing. Didn't notice much if any :-( but where I picked from I couldn't really see the mycelium to poke at. And none on the end of the stem either.
Other information: Earthy smell. Although that very well could have just been the dirt

Cincts will have a jet black spore print. Foes will be brown. Those are definitely foes as I'D above.

'Swim' would have to occur in the pool for optimum effectiveness.
The gills on pan. cinctulus are darker than on p. foenisecii and are mottled black, not brown. A spore print usually separates them quit well.
