There should be a Dream Forum
    #22474569 - 11/04/15 05:48 AM (8 years, 2 months ago)

I have Lucid Dreams every night. Often they could be entertaining stories for others or interesting concepts to talk about.

A lot of others here have lucid dreams.

I'd mod the forum.

Let's have a poll
Should a Lucid Dream or Dream Forum be added to the Shroomery (for entertainment and insight)
You may choose only one

I think lucid dreams fall under the spirituality forum, maybe talk to website announcement/feedback and the mods of the spirituality forum to create a subforum in spirituality, or just create your own lucid dream forum.

Well the thing is, not everyone would agree that Dreams have Anything to do with spirituality. Really it is an unknown science right now.
I think its a good idea.

Spend 5$ on a supporter acct, create the forum yourself.

Definitely buy a year, that's a win-win.  And yeah, the supporter acct allows you to make a User Created forum, where you set it up as you please (within the over-arching rules of the site) and you can run it as you see fit (within those rules/guidelines).

I'd join your forum. I've only had truly lucid dreams once or twice when I was a kid, but I enjoy working with dream recall and that kind of thing. Definitely an interesting subject.

I am a dreamer, and I would lurk on your forum. I almost never have lucid dreams though, usually when I realize that I am dreaming I wake myself up to prove to my self that it is a dream.

Do you practice lucid dreaming techniques, or are you a natural?

It won't flourish like you hope, as a UC forum or a site forum.

We have so many forums here that are just dead weight.

You'd be better off just making a dream mega-thread here in the pub.

love the idea. I need to become a supporter myself. I was talking to someone about my lucid dreaming last night. I'd like to hear about how other's dreams evolve after lucid dreaming. My dreams are more powerful and detailed than ever. I don't get that much of a pop and rush of excitement when I transition over. It seems like I am already in control. I know I could still pop over to fully  lucid I would just have to think about it, write about it, etc. It helps. I reached my last milestone after reading A Separate Reality by Carlos Castaneda. I was able to walk through doors. I'll be watching this thread.
