So, there's one family of crazies, so everyone that homeschools is crazy?
Sound like we got a homeschool valedictorian in the house. There is a great facebook or reddit group called "things home school moms say". It should be illegal to teach anyone if you don't know the difference between their and there. And these people always seem to be Jesus freaks to the worst degree. Your kid is going is not going to grow up well adjusted. Homeschooling your child is fucking retarded.

You talk that kind of shit to be trendy but its not true. You wouldn't want to live near those muslims. No one does. In areas they import them into they publicly warn girls not to wear mini-skirts because it'll encourage rape. Islam is a 180 reversal of every liberal value you have. You find Christians annoying because they don't share your values. But the muslim will gang rape your sister for wearing a short dress and then behead you for insulting their pedophile prophet.

You hate muslims because that's what fox told you to think. Islam will never have any effect on my life no matter how many they let in. Maybe I have to give the muslim guy some stupid holiday day off, really though I do not care. I have lived in neighborhoods with lots of them, they don't go around telling sluts to cover up, that's nonsense. They are just different than you. Better actually, they don't knock up their step daughters or get addicted to heroin or have a bunch of mental health issues. I never once see a muslim begging for change. They have their shit together, you guys are the ones with all the problems.

Texas has one of the best education systems. California has one of the worst. Umad?
texas has also had a thriving economy through a recession, it's all that oil money, just imagine if texas did secede and cut the supply of oil to the US, imagine what gas prices would be like and given that we're still decades away from any viable alternatives to oil...
You know that oil prices are set on the world market. It doesn't matter if Texas were part of the US or not, just as it doesn't matter if Canada is or isn't. Lol. Please explain how Texas could cut the supply of oil to the US.
hahaha... you clearly dont know how oil prices work either

My creator gave me a conscience. I live by the golden rule. I treat other people the way I'd want to be treated if the roles were reversed. You leave me alone and I leave you alone. You try to kill me and I will kill you because I'm not going down.
The Muslims will not assimilate and intend to destroy our culture and society. That causes a response. If Christ could be so angered that he would take a whip to the money changers in the temple then I can get mad at an organized attempt to destroy my family and culture and thats called rightious anger!
And I do more than preach. Its doing! Its feeding the poor. Living in the spirit of Christ!

so wait... your creator says to treat others as you would like to be treated and yet you're proselytizing against doing what your creator tells you under the guise of family values and all that nonsense. family values under christianity are to stone disobedient children to death.

Homeschooled blacks outperform traditionally schooled whites on SAT scores, in spite of the fact that amongst traditionally-educated students blacks don't do as well as whites. In fact, in the traditional education system, even poor white kids outperform rich black kids.
Furthermore, homeschooled kids consistently have higher GPAs throughout their college careers than traditionally-educated students, and have a higher college graduation rate than homeschooled kids.
To say your position is ignorant would be an understatement. Research and facts point towards home schooling as a fantastic alternative to the current system, in spite of funny Reddit pages.
What has actually happened here is your hatred for Jesus freaks has made you unable to make a valid assessment of the facts. You're just a bigot; the only difference between you an a KKK member is that you don't wear a bedsheet when you spew your hate-warped ideas.

No, family values under Old Testament Law are to stone a disobedient child to death. Prior to Jesus's death, it wasn't Christianity since Christ hadn't been here yet. Christians don't stone people. You're thinking of Muslims.
What you said is pithy, but inaccurate.

My exes brother is 'homeschooled' meaning he gets in all the course material, stacks up unopened and he instead plays video games all day. He's 13 and still sleeps in the same room as his mom. He has his own room but for some reason sleeps with her still. Its really sad and creepy. I blame the mother. She is over compensating for being a drug addict and abandoning her first two children.
I'm fine with homeschooling but the parents should have to take a test or at least report the progress.

illegal aliens bro...
Stop blaming everything on illegals. My county has one of the highest percentage of illegals in the country. Over 30% of the population is foreign born. The percentage of the county with HS diplomas is 91%. The percentage of Texans with HS diplomas is 49%. Don't blame illegal immigrants for the fact that texans seem to be dumb ass motherfuckers. My county has a higher percentage (57%) of college graduates than Texas has of high school graduates. Texas has a horrible education system.
