Are there any reliable herbs used for inducing lucid dreams that you guys know of? I've tried mugwort and Galantamine for about a month now, with no results.

Pure wild sage from any middle easterner stores; cut it up seep it hot water until the water is darkened ans then strain it and then drink the tea.
Clary Sage‘s super fragrant scent can provide you with some vivid and strange dreams. Ideal for the nocturnal adventurer! http://www.organicauthority.com/health/plants-to-enhance-dreaming.html
The scientific studies on Calea Zacatechichi suggests that it heightens the vividness of imagery in hypnagogia and the non-REM periods. Ingestion of the plant may also temporarily decrease deep slow-wave sleep and REM periods.
Lucid hypnagogic dreams may be experienced in these non-REM states, but because the herb also increases micro-awakenings and disturbs sleep, there are more chances to promote lucid dreaming from sleep onset. This can then create a REM rebound effect leading to more vivid and memorable dreams in the morning as well.
I’ve got to admit—this herb is really bitter. You can take it as a tea (with lots of honey) or use it as a smoking blend.
Or—pro tip—you could take Calea in capsule form. This gets around the bitterness issue and also ensures you take a specific amount. http://dreamstudies.org/the-truth-about-lucid-dreaming-supplements/

Inducing lucid dreams is an art and a science. There is a lot more to it than knowing what supplements to take--you have to know when during the sleep cycle to take them and how much and at what intervals etc. Lots to know.

Dream herb is the first one that everyone suggests. It makes you go back and forth from REM sleep more frequently, which makes you have more dreams, but not more dream time.
Hooperzine-A is another one that I have had success with, but I don't remember the science behind it.
As someone said earlier, the #1 thing is you. Research lucid dreaming techniques. There is an awesome book by Stephen LeBerge called "Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming." It really helped me.
But you HAVE to willing to dedicate some time/brain power to become a successful lucid dreamer.

I think the safest and most rewarding way to delve into the world of LD is a strong focus on your meditation.

I don't think that any dream supplements are at all dangerous, but I agree with rewarding. The most important thing though, is to starting writing/recording your dreams. It makes a world of a difference.

I definitely agree, I love going back on occasion and reading some of them. They can be a bit rediculous.
