Naw man its beautiful right now, and I've been taking kratom so it has been pretty much painless. Not that it wasn't a struggle, but it really helped with the withdrawals this time around.

depends if you call that "clean" or not ey...
If it works for you good on you... but i dunno... just seems like trading one thing for another. Like your still appeasing your opiate receptors no?

There is nothing wrong with trading one addiction for another as long as you are trading a far more harmful addiction for one that is drastically safer and more sustainable.
Great job switching from heroin to kratom moon rock.
Keep it up!

Thank you moon shoe. It has truly been a godsend. It was easier to switch to than suboxone. I feel better, and it feels easier to stop. I really feel like it is the miracle drug that the sellers of suboxone make buprenorphine out to be.

And thats something a lot of the dildo 12 steppers dont seem to understand. Especially the AA folks. NA ppl in general seem to be more understanding of addicts using things like mj or doing some sort of maintenance therapy. Its all about harm reduction
Ive been clean off heroin for well over 125 days, i actually lost count!!

I have always switched drugs to escape problematic addictions.
Getting totally sober or clean of all drugs isn't something I even want, and therefore it isn't possible.
For me switching drugs to avoid dependence to any particular drug , and using benign drugs to get off harmful ones, has always been the way I escaped my drug problems.
It is possible to use drugs daily without being addicted to any one drug and without ruining your life, and that has been the strategy that has worked best for me.
Kratom, cannabis and coffee are three drugs that have really helped to keep me out of trouble with harder stuff.
Daily kratom use isn't OK with me long term because I don't like being physically dependent, but if it keeps you free of heroin I say embrace it.
You can always taper down from kratom whenever you are ready.
In my experience even being a daily kratom addict is totally compatible with a healthy, happy, stable and productive life.
