I always had huge fascination with drugs... so you kinda get yourself in to it. Rather than most people who get it off other people?
Occasionally I will get high with one or a few other people, but 90% of the time I am alone. I do get my drugs off other people, but they are not other addicts for the most part. There have been times where I have a running buddy but people are too needy for the most part it is better alone.
If I remember right I got into it because I was not of legal age to drink, I wanted to party, and I had a friend that sold oxycontin. Very quickly I realized I liked it much more than alcohol, and the rest is a series of bad decisions and personal compromises.

I am a solo addict although I have worked in groups before. also had the bf/gf junkie thing going on with a girlfriend. Right now I am alone, and nobody even knows Im strung out except my dealer. and I live with my girlfriend. yup feels shitty. I just got a bomb job making good money and paid every week, so I plan to stabalize my usage and then transfer to krat if it doesnt get banned

oh it's getting banned.
Stock up or try to get on methadone.
You think you could sneak off to the clinic every day in the A.M. maybe it'd match your schedule? idk. after a few months u get to take it home so theres that too.
I too live a double life and boy is it hard to pretend i'm not sick and be cordial and stuff.

I have used gabapentin several times to combat W/D symptoms and it was like maginc. I have never used it to make it all the way through and stay clean though. Someone said they were 4 days clean with the help of GABApentin (Apostle?) have you ever fully kicked with this medication? I want to hear more about this, there isnt all that much info online on the subject.

Pregabalin is even egret than gabapentin.
In my experience pregabalin completely eliminates even serious Kratom WD.
I am fully confident it would be enormously helpful for anyone trying to quit opiates but daunted by WD.
Pregabalin lets me sleep through the WD when even benzos don't .
It helps me function and enjoy my day and overcomes the lethargy and fatigue.
It brightens and calms my mind and eliminates any depression or anxiety.
It's long lasting and has a euphoria all its own.
Use it for the first 3 days or so to get through the worst wd. Just don't use it for consecutive weeks or you will end up addicted to it.
I am currently on my third day without Kratom using it and it was effortless

I'll have 2 months on 9/11. I shot dope for 8 years. Being sober isn't necessarily the greatest but I'm no longer dealing with the consequences of using. I don't even drink anymore just sober as a judge 24/7.

Yea, Ive read great things about pregabalin (lyrica) for withdrawals, I don't have access to it, but I am happy with previous results using only gabapentin. I remember I woke up sick as usual and instead of fixing I dosed 1200 mg of gabapentin and going back to bed and eventually falling back asleep for a couple hours, then waking up fine. THe whole day I remember waiting to start feeling shitty and it never came on. It got close to bed-time for me when my dude hit me back with some product and i fixed, but I believe I could have slept pretty decently and maybe woken up ok. - This happened 2 or 3 other times pretty much the same. Ive always wondered how long a single dose of gabapentin or pregabalin would keep you ok for?

Sometimes you have to stay home on holiday weekends so you don't end up in jail for non-violent reasons.
Doing that now.

Ive been sticking to my poppy seed tea lately and its been treating me very well. My life has been so much more stable and improved compared to when i was doing h. Its like life now is even better than before i started doing h.
Im excited to be free of its stranglehold. I cant even picture doing h anymore. I cant relate to the mindset anymore it disgusts me. The desperation and the anguish from being sick all the time, worrying about getting that next hit all the time. I may still be technically an addict but life is stable. I dont even drink anymore, just my typical daily dose of pst and some mj on occasion.
I woke up a few days ago and in that morning i could smell/feel the beginning of the seasons change. I had a flashback to last year around this time and remembered how horribly depressing life was. It just takes up so much energy and effort to be addicted. Its like a tremendous weight has been lifted.
I remember the last bag i did and how i had a wave of pleasure that lasted 10 mins followed by nothing but regret.

It's good that you are excited to be free of the stranglehold of heroin, but you won't get there by drinking pod or seed tea.
Pod tea and seed tea is just as addictive as heroin and will have just as much a stranglehold on you with just as much withdrawal if not worse.
Using it is still probably better in terms of safety because you don't need to worry about fentanyl , but it's also quite easy to overdose from tea.
I support using it to maintain instead of dope but don't fool yourself that you are getting free Of your addiction, because pod and seed tea addictions are just as serious as any other opiate addiction with all the same issues (withdrawals , dependence, overdose etc)

I agree with moon youre trading apples for apples
Texted my dealer this morning Then proceeded to quickly block her number before she could respond
The thing I hate most about this addiction is the daily battles with myself over it. My mind doesn't really sleep on how awful this is, even when I'm high, so it feels like a full time job... And that's why I'm chalking today down clean
