You're doing awesome man!  I agree cigs are gross without opiates.  The smell too bad :puke: some people say that they chain smoke in withdrawal, but that doesn't make any sense to me I can hardly smoke without opis.  I used to have a bud that I would get high with and whenever he was sick he would smoke and we'd be on the way to cop and he'd always make me pull over so he could puke on the side of the road, which I hated.

I got some dizope today but right after I felt so bad I deleted this crew's numbers.  I didn't want to cuz they are probably the most legit professional crew I've dealt with, and the dope is good, but I hadda let it go.  Hopefully they don't call me when they change numbers or notice I haven't been calling.

I'm seriously considering going into an actual detox, which is something I've never done it my ~10 years of being hooked.  My insurance sucks though, so I don't know if I'll find anything.  Seems like they make it easier for people who get arrested or overdose.  If you try to get clean on your own initiative they make it hard to get in a program.  Anyone got advice on how I might find a program, or if it is even a worthwhile?

Honestly I would rather be addicted to almost any other drug then cigarettes .

Other then kronodil cigarettes would be the last addiction I would want .

Also one of the hardest to quit  and most likely to kill you.

I  wish you luck and recommend e cigarettes to help you.

Yeah I got a nice sub-ohm e-cig back right before thanksgiving. I haven't had to even try to not smoke since then. I'll sit around on the computer and just keep mindlessly puffing on it and before I know it, I have a rush and need to lay down. I highly recommend them as well to quit smoking. I've got off nicotine completely 2 times with them, but when I relapse on dope I pick it right back up. Hopefully that doesn't happen again.

I really hope I'm not horrendously sick on Christmas this year like I so often am.  That is the absolute pits.  I wish I had the self control to set a bad aside for then, but unfortunately I know that my best bet is staying clean, because I cannot manage my use even if my life depends on it.

Yeah I was on Suboxone maintenance from Feb 2013 I think it was until I got kicked off this past October.  My doctor  said he had to let me go because my drug tests were coming back indicating that I wasn't taking the medication as I should, even though I was taking and tested positive for buprenorphine, I tested negative for norebuprenorphine which is one of the metabolites.

That really pissed me off and made me not want to have to depend on these doctors who might just up and decide that I'm not longer worthy, so I tried to stop, am still trying to stop really.

I consider methadone a last resort.  The idea of showing up daily is very unappealing, not affordable, and the kick sounds awful and I just want off.

That is some bullshit. If it was working well you should give it another shot if its possible. Failing that you could get buprenorphine on the dark net. It would probably work out no more expensive than a heroin habit.

Yeah I could access bupre on the street, which funny thing is would be cheaper than buying to from a pharmacy  problem is I can't find another doctor now, and I suspect my doctor was eager to boot me because of changes in the insurance plan that I have.  Last year it was easy to find doctors, and now nobody wants to touch the state plan, I think the Obamacare is falling apart around here.

Well I have some good news for once.  I just found out I have a job starting next month.  I'm going to need to kick again, but this time I am going to make it work.  Going to a treatment center today to see what they can offer me, but I feel like having this opportunity is exactly what I needed to motivate myself to get through this.

Hope everyone is doing well.  Gonna be a rough couple of weeks but I am more confident than ever!

Well I've enrolled in intensive outpatient therapy starting tommorrow, which I'm not really thrilled about being more the DIY type, but I think I owe it to my family to see it through,

Just took my last shot... forever .  Here goes nuffin!

Thanks.

Honestly if I was more into benzos I would very likely be dead now, or at least I would have overdosed several times, wrecked my car, and dome even more stupid regrettable shit.  That's a deadly combo.

Ugh. I need dental work.

Not like a filling or something. They're going for the jaw. Guess my braces as a kid were poorly planned and my teeth shifted. Doesn't help I grind the shit out of my teeth.

So I'm going to assume this isn't going to be painless and they're going to prescribe me something.

From what I've read here, even people at the 6 month mark can get sick and reboot their sobriety into full blown dope sick. Just grin and bear it? It doesn't look good. I hate to throw away 60 days clean, but screws in my jaw?

:aweman:

Help?

I had an implant screw drilled two centimeters into my jaw yesterday. it hurt for a few hours from the incision in the gums. I don't even notice now. definitely no need for opiates or even Tylenol.

I would say refuse the percs.  If they were a problem before, they will be a problem this time.  People go through painful operations without aftercare opiates every day, and if you can not take them I think you will be really proud of yourself.

Your choice though.

Thanks, makes me feel better. When I had braces as a kid the damn thing snapped off and I had metal wire through my cheek. Tore my mouth up. Now I've got this terrible mouth pain phobia.

Tapered my alprazolam down to 3mg a day; easy to get up to 7-10mg a day when you have endless powder for a few cents a mg. Gonna keep going to 2mg a a day and call it good.

Poppy tea all day. Just a few pods a day and I've got the perfect energetic high for 24 hours.
