But you used Vicodin before you got into Kratom right ?

I guarantee If you take one hundred people and put fifty on moderate or heavy doses of daily Kratom and the other fifty on moderate to heavy doses of opium, heroin, OxyContin, Vicodin or any other pharmaceutical opiate and keep both groups daily dosing the same number Of times for a month or a year, and then make them both go cold turkey , you are going to see the Kratom group go through drastically less severe
Withdrawals which will also be much shorter lived.

Furthermore the life outcomes of the Kratom group will be drastically better.

I have been tapering down rapidly from Kratom and it has been incredibly easy.

I now dose only 2.5 grams at a time and feel as good or better then when on three
Times that much.

This would not be the case with suboxone or methadone where you have to suffer for each
Incremental reduction in dose.

And when I quit cold turkey I was back to normal in a week.
Any equivalently long opiate addiction would have had longer and move severe WD.

But people with past opiate addictions seem to withdraw from Kratom as if it was a hat
Opiate, which makes perfect sense especially if they switched directly From a harder opiate to Kratom then quit, In which case they are basically experiencing a delayed withdrawal to the previous opiate that Kratom merely postponed.

Ive been using for a couple days straight, but before i dose i make sure im on a ultra-low dose of Naloxone. The stuff i have is super diluted, so .25ml is 25mcg of the actual drug. Naloxone usually blocks all of your receptors when taken in doses as low as 50mcg. But someone found out that if you take Ultra-Low doses starting around 12mcg, it only blocks one of your receptors. The receptor it blocks is presumed to be whatever receptor responsible for tolerance. The tricky part though is gauging YOUR best dose. 12mcg is just a starting point, and it very well might not work for some people. You want to slowly increase your dose until you have a solid blockade dose on that tolerance receptor. If you over shoot though, itll block all of your receptors and stop the flow of opiates instantly making you dopesick until it wears off after 5 hours. (which is how long each dose lasts) And not only does this keep you from raising your tolerance, but also lets you use less and less of dope to feel the same effect.

Ive no where near perfected this technique yet... but i take around 12mcg whenever i know my last 5 hour dose has stopped. I take it even if im not doing anymore at the moment, just to keep my tolerance lowering. Im sure my doses can be better tuned, especially at the strength of the opiates i use.

But anyways, im sorry if my writing kinda looks like shit, but i accidentally fell asleep and dreamed like 20 times while trying to write this. :awehigh:

Absolutely brilliant.
Don't know where I'd get the stuff though.
If there were a way to perfect that method, and render tolerance nearly innocuous, opiates would be a feasible long term daily habbit. We all know they currently are not.

Yet, I'm pushing 6 or 7 days of being on opies and its at the point where I need 40mg oxy to feel high.
Despite this, 20mgs and up seems to get me feeling "well", that is to say better than nothing.

I kind of don't mind tolerance. Once I run out of this stash I'll take a few weeks off (gotta have money for Christmas presents) , reset the receptors, and then possibly do it all over again (though in going to try not to). If I do, I think I'll just go with straight nasal H#4 for cost effectiveness. That or if I'm smart I'll just order a bunch of pods.

Right now I've got 40mg opana and 40mg oxy ER in the stash, as well as a single 5mg oxy IR  I started with 20mg hydrocodone, 80mg oxymorphone, 220mg oxycodone (roxy 30s and 5s) and 80mg oxycodone ER. God I'm drooling at the thought of having all of that back and zero tolerance.

Attempting to take no opies this afternoon and only take a kpin so I don't feel ill. I've got a presentation Thursday and I don't want to find myself at the end of an oxy binge with no oxy left. If I'm being honest though I'll probably feel a bit shitty and rail that 5mg just to surpress it a bit through the peak of the minor wds.

Opiates are best done in week to week and a half long binges, with maybe a day or two off during. Something awesome about giving no fucks for an entire week and feeling like a king, and it seems that the withdrawals are minimal to nonexistant. It feels like cheating, except the wallet still takes a bullet.

It's amazing how I plan out my doses so I will have enough to take care of my obligations, and every time I convince myself it would be better to get really high now and just deal with being sick at school/work/whatever.  You'd think I'd learn, but no.

You're definitely gonna end up hopelessly addicted modestmouse.  You sound exactly like me 10 years ago :smirk: don't die

I know that feeling though. Even when you know... I fucking really should save some for work tomorrow..... BUT I could just do some now and finish the lot off just cause.

That's nuts but now that I think about it it's not the first I've heard of someone getting ludes somewhat recently. Were they prescribed to you?

Yeah. I switched from 4mg of xanax to 80mg of valium, tapered down to 25mg, and had to jump off from there so my doctor wrote me a script for a bunch of those to finish the w/d. I got high on them. It's very different from a benzo.

I've also had IV phenobarbital, it's kinda hard to breathe when that shit hits you.

ok i guess its been long enough to tell the story. when i lived in arizona i used to frequent a bbq restaurant that happened to also be an african american history museum. one day as I'm walking around the museum waiting for my rib combo to be finished i decide to check out whats behind the 60's era lunch counter/pharmacy display (apparently the owner was the first black pharmacist in that particular town and i guess all the items in that display were from his old pharmacy). so just out of druggie curiosity I'm looking at all these old ass medicine bottles some empty some half full of diff powders and such when i spot in a closed glass cabinet a small cardboard box marked "methaqualone 400mg". i couldn't believe my eyes, was i really looking at a box of ludes? i assumed the cabinet had to be locked but looked around to make sure no one was near gave the door a tug and it opened right up. now I'm thinking "that box has to be empty, no way it still has quaaludes in it" so i grab it out of the cabinet and can immediately tell it is not empty. when i opened it up there was probably about 25 of those vials with 2 400mg pills in each, i quickly grabbed one vial returned the box to its place (i don't know why i only grabbed one probably because i just wanted to get the whole heist over with asap and kinda felt bad stealing from a museum, in retrospect i should have took as many as i could have fit into my pockets). anyway after that i  sat down and ate my bbq then went home popped what was probably one of the last legitimately produced quaalude consumed by a human being and danced around in my living room smoking bongs and listening to the bee gees
