Wondering if this is a contamination or what, I literally spreaded this colonized rye for the third time already and now today its already has mycelium growing. But I don't know if its contaminated. Let me know please. This is the third time my rye is colonizing with substrate. It hasnt grown any fruits in all three tries because I kept breaking it and spreading it because I was a noob and didn't know sub was a necessity but now I mixed it with sub and its the last time it will colonize.

Now I'm thinking that there's no contamination. From the outside it looked slot worse like there was one. But I don't know. Is the substrate the reason for the fast colonization? My room is cold and haven't applied any heat to the tub and its been in darkness.

Yeah I was worried because from the outside it looked dark but when I layed the flash on it, it was white. How long should I leave it colonize and when should pins start forming? Will the substrate create humidity? Or do I need to put in a humidifier inside? The substrate has a bunch of stuff in it from what I know it was all the basics of what sub should have I ordered it from one of the sponsors.

You don't need or want a humidifier.
Misting and fanning will create humidity and induce pinning. Look into it

Leave it til it's fully colonized. Pins will likely start forming shortly after. Introduce fresh air exchange by pulling off the tape and putting in polyfil at 100 percent.

Yes, the substrate will create it's own humidity, given that it was hydrated correctly to field capacity at the time of spawning. You don't want to put a humidifier inside.
