What oral health compounds do you use?
    #22472369 - 11/03/15 05:55 PM (8 years, 2 months ago)

There are a few basic compounds that anyone concerned about their oral health should use.

1. Chlorhexidine and/or cetylpyridinium chloride

2. Zinc ion solution for reducing bacterial ability to produce volatile sulfur compounds. VSCS are what cause bad breath.

3. Biotene mouthwash or xylitol bubblegum for plaque dissolution/teeth remineralization

4. Sodium fluoride for obvious reasons

How many of these do you use?

We all need more love, and mainly less hate

That makes the heart's eye cry
Locked deep away in the skies of our minds

It's all in the mind

Without knowing him well, why do you say that?

Oral non-health = no girls. Anything that equals no girls equals no fun

Fluoride is necessary to maintain all calcified cell structures such as teeth and internal bones, as we age!

and yet women still shrink and break hips no matter how many times they brush, better off not brushing then you at least won't have nearly as brittle bones.  so when you fall you bounce like a ball so if you curl up you can start rolling and if you find a hill you can go bowling and wake up sometime the next morning

Fluoride doesn't do much once teeth are fully grown. That's a direct quote from my dentist.

No. Sodium fluoride in high concentrations almost entirely eliminates s. Mutans which is the primary strain of bacteria that decays teeth.

No sodium fluoride in high concentrations will fuck you up bad. It's good in trace amounts, but excessive fluoride is extremely bad for your health.

Invalid. I never use information from such sources. I trust university research studies. PubMed...scientific research journals..

Nazis brushed their teeth with fluoride toothpaste. What does that tell you about fluoride?

I don't use fluoride in my toofpaste and my chompers are most excellent.

I have one of those tongue scrapers though, and I floss/brush every night and then in the morning before work, I also have mouthwash too, never had any complaints about bad breath from any of the people I have kissed.

That it's effective and efficient, like they were. (Excluding Hitler's idiotic choices which were an impediment)

Not evil
