I'd ditch the air pump stuff.
if its a good fruiting chamber you don't need a pump, it's just a vector for contams IMO

How is an air pump any more risk of a contamination issue? Fruiting is not a sterile process, if the cake was fully colonized, contamination should no longer be an issue.
Although I do agree with the fruiting chamber, can't get any better than a properly made SGFC for fruiting cakes. 1/4'' Holes every 2 inches in a grid style pattern, on all 6 sides of a clear plastic tote. 4-5 inches of damp perlite, then elevate your FC a few inches to provide proper airflow.

i would have made a sgfc but as i stated this is my first attempt and before i even heard of this forum or pf tek for that matter i was just following the grow kits (mid west mega grow kit with 6 extra jars ) instructions and using what they called a fc which i still use because i dont think it would be wise to build a sgfc now when im so close to my first flush (i hope) but i will next grow

Yeah I was almost tempted to buy that kit from midwest. Thankfully, I found the shroomery first and wised up a bit. Spending 100+ on those supplies is silly when you can get a good grow going for a fraction of the price.

True but they also tend to fuck up the the way the SGFC works. And if you read my post all I said was it is a vector for contams as in it can harbor some spores or possibly bacteria. There's just no need for it.
I know fruiting isn't a sterile time for the mycelium.
The main point of that post was me saying get a SGFC and ditch the pump lol was I wrong? No

I think the myc colonizes the Verm when it wasn't allowed to consolidate long enough before birthing... one week is minimum, but like pasty said two weeks is probably better.
